Aroma is malty, smells like bread, with some sweet malt notes. Flavor is spicy, lots of floral notes to it, as well as a little lemon and honey and a sweet alocohol finish. Thanks to Larry Pitonka for this one! frylock (1027), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2004 A beautiful, unique beer that is the color and hue of a harvest moon in the glass. Substantial and radiant, with a perfect half inch of stubborn white rocky head. No lacing to speak of, though I can’t subtract any points for that. Aromas are floral, yeast, apples and oranges. Tasting yields a full, hoppy and rustic beer with a long bready finish. Malt, hops, and fruity flavors are all held together by the yeast in sublime balance. An excellent beer from an excellent brewer. A brew to behold. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2004 Pours a deep unfiltered orange with a big white creamy head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of stale hops, lemon zest, and the refreshing aroma of wheat. Very thin but refreshing with a very clean flavor. I definitely taste the wheat but no oats??. Will be very nice as a summer refresher. Big thanks to whaleman for giving me a bottle before I left the NM gathering. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 29, 2006 Bottle: Foggy, burnt caramel color with a fluffy, off-white head. I definitely smell the lemon verbena and something else like curdling milk as well as other herbs. The taste isn’t as good as I was hoping for -- aftertaste is kind of like I imagine my little boy’s urine-logged diaper would taste like. I imagine there are other redeeming qualities, pehaps I drank it too cold. ghawener (972), San Salvador, El Salvador
