The aroma and flavor were filled with earthy tones...grass, old wood, and soil...also lemons, spices, animal fur, and sweet yeasty tones. The feel was quite crisp with a dry finish. Nice. topherh (943), Kearney, Missouri, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2009 22oz bomber served in a tulip. Hazy golden orange pour with a layer of thin beige film for a head. Minimal, spotty lace. The aroma consisted of caramel, honey, lemon zest, pineapple, and some light spicing. The flavor had some more upfront spice notes, lightly sour lemon, caramel, stone fruit, and some bready yeast. Medium-bodied. Lightly carbonated. The yeast seemed to be a little bland and lacking in character. Just okay. CanIHave4Beers (918), Des Moines, Iowa, USA

Pours a hazy orange color with a good head and plenty of lace. The aroma is cheesy and funky with some light citrus notes, just a little less aromatic than I like in the style but I’ll forgive it because I like the smell of it one I pick it up. The flavor is dry and nicely funky, mildly hoppy with a fruity and an herbal sort of hop thing going on. All in all I liked it and I wish they were still doing the six packs of it. troopie (909), USA

Flavour seemed to be between a witbier and a pils. Lasting spicy finish. I’ve waited two years ot taste this, and I was not disappointed. I wish I could get this in bottles Zach Diesel (907), Portland, Oregon, USA
