Aug 20, 2009 Decent BDG. Pours orange with thin white head, which dissipates quickly. Aroma is a little funk and spice, and some Belgian yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet, but kind of disappointing considering the the nice aroma.

Nov 1, 2006 got this a while ago in a trade but forgot who it was, but thanks who ever you are.has best before march 05 poured a cloudy light copper with a lot of floaters and a small off white head. aroma, orange and lemon zest mixed together, lots of yeast, sugar, when it warmed a bit got some wheat and sourness. flavor a nice citrus mix of orange, tangerine lemon, sugar, a hint of alcohol, a slight taste of grass. this is a very good beer would like to get my hands on a fresh bottle

Apr 4, 2006 Mehh....I don’t know, it’s supposedly a saison-like belgian beer. Kinda taste like Fat Tire, with a few hints of orange and clove. Nothing special.

Nov 10, 2009 Thanks to friend Paul B for this sample. Follows more or less the the objective description listed here. Poured with a nice white head and good lace. Color is almost clear medium yellow. Aroma is spicy, malty, honey, herbal; nice. Flavor is about the same. Decent brew. Good finish. Slightly boozy. Drinkable.

Oct 31, 2009 22 oz. purchased at Mac’s on West Peachtree. Glad this made its way to Atlanta. Nice haze orange appearance with a head that fades away rather quickly. Malt, fruit, and slight brett aroma. Also, there is a slight spice, but I feel with this beer I am slightly having to look for the spices, but as the beer warms the spices come out. Ah, not really sure about the flavor. Rather weak flavor is you ask me. Slight brett taste towards the end. Fruity flavor with some malt backing. I feel like this one is just missing something. At times the brett comes out more than at other times. Slight lemon fruit flavor as well. Not really a huge fan of this one, but it is decent.

May 19, 2005 Did not strike me as a typical saison, with a little less funkiy yeast straings. Nice flavor of fruit, a bit dry, and a pleasant drink. Aroma of citrus was hampered by an unidentified off-aroma that smelled astringent.

May 14, 2003 This was a damn good Saison, thanks to mitch for the beer. It begins with an awesome aroma of wood, paper, caramel, yeastiness and bananas. It pours a golden and tanned color with a heavy opal colored head. There is a nice lemony bittering and a malty tanginess that begins right around the mid sip. Some mango and citrus in there as well just to be well rounded and crisp. Big, bold taste with a round malty finish and a nice dry ending. The carbonation level is medium and held in check well. This is very tasty and smells wonderfully.
