| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 11, 2004 Golden/light amber. Quickly dying head. Unspectacular nose of citrsy hops, slight yeast funk and hint of malt. Medium bodied. Light flavors of lemony hops, slight acidity, clean pale malt profile and slight fruitiness. Crisp, balanced and quaffable but doesn't have that saison funk to it. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2006 Tap. Pours a pale hazy yellow with no head. was a bit disappointed in this one. Seeemed too light and watery. Faint hints of yeast and hops but all in all not very remarkable but rather average. djd07 (753), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Bomber. Pours a clear orange copper with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly leaving decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong clove, citrus, and light floral. Medium mouthfeel with a spicy fruit with wheat and lemon. Easy to drink, very refreshing a very good Biere de Garde from New Belgium. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 3, 2003 Love this. The zesty lemon gives this a great bite but there are many complexities dancing around on the tongue. Nice orange gold, very attractive. I want more. Fratto (751), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2004 Bottle. Pours a bright orange color with a big fluffy head but not much lacing. The aroma is earthy and fruit/ citrus with sweet brown sugar and bread notes. Very balanced yeasty flavors of orange and bread dough. Very nice beer. herbjones (742), Orange, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 9, 2005 Murky orange-ish brew. Citrus nose, not from hops type citrus but the fruits. Medium/light body. Mildly spiced. Pretty enjoyable. jhumphries69 (730), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 10, 2009 22oz bomber. Pours a clear orangey-gold with a medium-thin off-white head. The aroma is crisp and somewhat grainy with a subtle note of cider, subtle brett funk (at first - this faded after a few sniffs and a few sips), and some deeper malt notes. The flavor starts somewhat cidery but then layers of velvety malts enter. There is a subtle muffin-doughy/yeasty spiciness (cloves/phenols). The main character is a smooth and consistent malt backbone. The finish is crisp and somewhat dry with a malty and slightly grainy aftertaste. Bitterness is soft (balancing) and neutral in character. No real hop character. The mouthfeel is crisp and medium-bodied. Overall, this is a very drinkable beer - solid. It isn’t particularly interesting or complex, but is still a tasty brew.
