Pours a hazy but bright orange color with a thick creamy two finger head that settles very slowly to rocky cap and leaves a nice webbing of lace behind.
Smell; nice citric orange peel, a little bit lemony with a good spiciness. There’s a definite musty brett presence in the aroma.
Taste; the mustiness that I picked in the nose comes out more in the flavor. The coriander and lemons, as well as a slightly sourness. There’s a nice malt presence and mildly peppery spiciness in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, and very creamy, and goes down nicely. One of the easiest to drink beers that I’ve had in a while.
I tried this beer last year and thought it was decent, but this year it seems to be so much better. smcd (366), USA

Definitely a difference in appearance between kegged and bottled versions, the kegged variety being much clearer. Both are relativley yeasty and spicy. Chewy. Full-bodied. Deep orange. fatty (363), Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA

Some caramel, banana, and orange hints in a moderately hoppy beer. the finish is ok. A decent enough beer that reminds me of a Belgian white. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 6, 2005 beer pours a very hazy, orangish color with a big fluffy white head that doesn’t retain so well, but leaves a lot of lace. aroma is huge, with citric notes dominant, but some subtler barnyard and grassy/hay notes underneath. flavor is very nice-a crisp maltiness with some sweetness, a light hop presence, and a nice tang from the yeast. goes down easily. a nice effort.
