| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2003 Soft cloudy orange. Sharp, somewhat tart flavor up front. Soft palate and carbonation throughout. Woody and sandy flavors, somewhat sour, like grapefruit juice, with some peanuts, birch, and turpentine flavors as well. Peach aroma. lemonlovr (187), Lockport, Illinois, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2005 12oz bottle. BB 20MAR05. Super hazy orange beer. Thin white head. Bread dough nose, with some odd fruity, earthy nuances. Nice almost creamy body, comes to a bitter end with some more funk from the verbena or more likely the yeasts. Much brighter and vibrant than last years, or maybe its just the freshness. I like this and like others below, was a bit surprised at that fact. This is probably the most interesting and adventurous of NBB’s line-up, meaning those that they put in six-packs. willblake (2191), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Orange and cloudy, looks more than a bit like that iced tea-lemonade combo stuff. Dry and funky aromas, wheaty and spicey, plastic, locker room(?) but in a good way. Chewy malts, leaf litter and wet bark, more sweat, old fruit, musty. A bit of a sharp spice to finish, but sweet in the end, too. Soft and full body. Odd, but good. jeffc666 (1897), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2005 Murky though spotty bright orange body topped by a pillowy manila head. The aroma is nice and funky, spices, fruit and some sweetness. The flavor is interesting. Much more malt intensive then some Saisons, pepper and citrus throughout. Does not taste as funky as it smells. Lightly sour with an astringent biting finish. The palate is dry spritzy and medium. Decent effort it could use a little more of that farm house funk to really make it a true stand out. Thanks to my Ohio connection. rajendra82 (705), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 The sienna colored body was endowed with ample carbonation, the resulting rapid effervescence of which formed a two finger thick head in the tulip glass. The aroma was malty and floral with yeast imparted spicy notes as well. The taste was like spice cake, with floral and bready characteristics melding with faint herbal bitterness and a spicy phenolic finish. The body was creamy, light, and oily. It was bit too floral for my liking, but some others may find it attractive. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2006 Tap at the Six Arms. Hazy dark brown beer. Nice sweet caramel malts underneath a great tart aroma. Some great fruitiness, cherry, orange peel mixed with a soft woodiness. Vineous, white grape flavour. Body is still quite full, but there is great balance here. Lots of tasty funk. Dryish finish, despite all the sweet malts up front. Oaky tannic flavour and a lingering woody, resiny finish.
