Commercial Description:
Biere De Mars is New Belgium’s exploration of the classic French and Belgian brews celebrating the half-winter, half-spring month of March. Our bottle-conditioned version, however, goes where no BIERE DE MARS has gone before. After gazing at its cloudy, yet glowing orange hue, prepare yourself for a celestial collaboration of oats, wheat, barley malt and lemon verbena, all of which is set into orbit by unidentified flying yeast strains.

Pours translucent orange with a thick head, which leaves nice lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and bread. Slides over the tounge with full body and a hoppy bite. Lingering aftertaste (with this beer, its a good thing). One of my favorites!!!

One of my all time favorite beers. Wow, the taste is amazing! Sweet and tangy with an almost citrus backbone complementing the basic spices used in the brewing process. Delightful...I simply love this beer. Pours a nice dayglow orange color with an exceptionally large head. I’m still waiting for this one to hit the shelves again.

Lips of Faith Biere de Mars - bottle. Woooooowwwwww... is there a lot going on in that glass! Gorgeous orange (a true orange color) in the glass without much head. I get a bit of sour on the nose - perhaps some straw. Very very mellow ale - soft on the palate - with complex malt, some spice (but muted) and some nice wild yeast.

Looks like an Iraqi sandstorm ... awesome orange/gold color. Some really unusual fruit flavor undoubtedly brought about by the oats and lemon, makes for a damned tastey brew. New Belgium does it again!

Bottle. Best New Belgium beer I have had. Similar to Leinenkugel’s Northwoods or Creamy Dark. Rich malty flavor with a citrus hint to it. Very tasty.

Bottle, pours orange with a nice white head. A good brad dough flavor balanced with a citrus character.

This is a very nice smooth beer. Looks like Orange Soda but doesn't taste like it. Nice flavor not bitter. Particulates throughout. Its very drinkable. I think these guys are onto something. Something very good.

One of the most unusual beers that I have ever tried. Sorta orangey flavored with some sourness and bananas involved. Spice is in the finish as well.
