Liked the flavors on this beer. This was very drinkable and the frutiness and spices where just perfect to the balance of malts. A good after winter beers...beer.. 11026 (1772), Alabama, USA

Aroma is slight spices and citrus. Perhaps a little bit like orange pekoe tea. Smooth bodied. Some spices a bit yeasty with mild sweetness throughout. Tasting again like the orange pekoe. Refreshing carbonation. Not getting much from oats or wheat. Solid American saison. calivania (62), USA

This one has a great look -- a cloudy burnt orange (go Longhorns). Pretty, delicate head. Dry and lightly spicy, from nose to finish. Sturdy but not heavy. Most beers that are ’not for every one’ tend to be for me. This one is not an exception. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2005 pours a cloudy orange with a huge white head. aroma is sour as expected from asaison like beverage with a yeasty note that is a bit peppery. there is a noticeable hop presence in this sucker, that is very grapefruit/orange like. lemony flavor that has some body to it. wow, the yeasty flavor comes through here. this is a nice affordable version of a good saison. it doesn’t quite measure up to one, but it is good on its own. wonderful dry chalky alcohol and grape finish. i will buy a 6 of this. i could spend an evening with this beer and not be ashamed. wow this is dry. hopdog (5630), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
