The myriad of ’floaties’ definitely let you know it’s bottle conditioned. Mouthfeel is a little oily on the tongue; but on the other hand, the ’oil’ seems to spread the flavors around your mouth... and then they stick like Slick50 and linger for a while. At first, I enjoyed the ’tangerine/lemon’ tartness, coupled with the slight alcohol bite. Further down the glass it started to become too predictable. Overall, not bad, but in my opinion, nowhere near their par. Granted, their par is pretty high though! Jake Barnes (456), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Apricot malt base with yeast component in the foreground with a little citrus. Tinge of hops at the end with some corriander and pepper. Turned grassy as the glass warmed. Creamy body and mouthfeel. Sweet for my tastes, but good. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2004 Pours a deep unfiltered orange with a big white creamy head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of stale hops, lemon zest, and the refreshing aroma of wheat. Very thin but refreshing with a very clean flavor. I definitely taste the wheat but no oats??. Will be very nice as a summer refresher. Big thanks to whaleman for giving me a bottle before I left the NM gathering. GreatSatanUSA (107), Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2005 12 oz bottle - Central Market - Austin,Tx. Pours a murky light peach color with a thin but long lasting white head. Aroma has a bit of a lemony zest to it. Flavor is pleasant, but muddled. Has some citrus notes, with a bit of white grape in there. Some yeasty notes make their way in the back end as well. Mouthfeel is fairly thick for the style. Overall, decent, nothing to write home about.
