Yeasty aroma, Munich malt and biscuit. A little barny up front. Dry and hay-like. Light apricot that intesnifies closer to room temp. Biscuity. kujo9 (1078), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Bottle: Very thin, short lived white head on a medium amber body. Immediate aroma is of Juicy Fruit gum! Aromas to follow are catty, light alcohol, and musty, earthy, malt and wet horse blanket. Flavor is well balanced, with some toasty malt, but overall thin! Fruitiness is low, and there’s not much to the flavor. Some earthy flavors up front, hints of bitterness in the very finish, aftertaste is rather bland, but does have some pepper and spicy yeast. Not papery or cardboardy, just bland. Highly carbonated, dry m/f, hints of warming alcohol, and lighter body. Interesting beer! Sort of a clash between a farmhouse ale and a pumkin ale. Seems to be some nutmeg hidden in there, but it might just be the yeast. Sven (229), Lancaster, California, USA

Smells of apricots and wood. Clean, dry palate. Undectable hop bitterness. Rather sweet with a pleasant spicy balance. BCAR (216), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Very interesting beer. Citrus and yeast are the dominant scents. Yeast pads spot the surface of the biere. High effervescence but not a whole lot of body. A step away from being great. Seems almost more like a summer selection than the bridge month of its name. Finish is slight bitter and short. jzzbassman (850), New Albany, Mississippi, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2005 Did not strike me as a typical saison, with a little less funkiy yeast straings. Nice flavor of fruit, a bit dry, and a pleasant drink. Aroma of citrus was hampered by an unidentified off-aroma that smelled astringent. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

Very yeasty aroma with some banana and a bit of lemon coming through. I do get some lemons and orange in the taste along with grains, wheat. Finishes with some a sour lemon and apple peel taste. Very easy drinking beer. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

The emulsion has the consistency of honey when in the glass, but goes down like liquid, perhaps shifting its state of matter. Interesting flavor, sophisticated and enjoyable overall. Initially bitter, but develops into a great biere de mars.
