| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Sold as the Lips of Faith series. Pours an orange color with a dense white head. Aroma has a nice toasted note, light clove, some soured malt nose and a very acidic note. Flavor has a modest Brett bite, some husky grain presence, apple and lemon fruity note and with a light earthy ending. Moderate body, light texture with a very solid lacing left on the glass. Overall, for the price, this brew definitely falls short. Flavors are good but meld creating only an okay brew. Definitely not something that I want to get again.

Taste is of spice, citrus, bread, pumpkin, dust, toffee and malt. Similar aroma. Good mouthful. Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable. A nice beer that leaves me wanting more. rajendra82 (704), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 The sienna colored body was endowed with ample carbonation, the resulting rapid effervescence of which formed a two finger thick head in the tulip glass. The aroma was malty and floral with yeast imparted spicy notes as well. The taste was like spice cake, with floral and bready characteristics melding with faint herbal bitterness and a spicy phenolic finish. The body was creamy, light, and oily. It was bit too floral for my liking, but some others may find it attractive. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Lips of Faith bomber. Slightly hazy orange color with a very thin head. Yeasty aroma, Munich malt and biscuit. A little barny up front. Dry and hay-like. Light apricot that intesnifies closer to room temp. Biscuity. sridleyGTR (23), Golden, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 22, 2009 22 oz poured into New Belgium globe glass. Light amber / honey color with great clarity. Thin white head and fine, vigorous carbonation. Musty aromas include sour apple and other fruits, with some floral notes. Mouthfeel is watery, but sports flavors of apple, citrus, and some spices. The finish is classic brett – sour but dry. Not my preferred style, but a really nice offering that gives me the urge to sit down with a nice cheese board and some smoked sausage. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Lips of Faith bomber... pours a deep clear orange with a 2 finger white head... which settles to no head eventually. I was expecting to see some big yeast in the bottle, but really didn’t see any evidence of lingering (or flying) yeast. Nice Brett aroma with some lemon notes... good level of barnyard funk... medium body with some spice and citrus notes throughout the mouth. lively carbonation... aggressive spice laced front while and sides... a bit of pepper. long dry finish with a touch of sour apple and more Brett. Really nice Biere de Mars from New Belgium. GranvilleTim (488), Granville, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Red amber pour with off-white head. Aroma of sourness and citrus. Taste is O.K.- little sour and citrus/orange flavor. Nothing really dominant/ jumping out at me. Little dry aftertaste that has a citrus tang to it. IrishBoy (2712), Bakersfield, California, USA

Nose kind of lightly vegetal and funky with some light spices mixed in. Clear bright orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is spicy with a tiny bit of bitterness. Tastes much better than it smells.
