| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden color with an initial 2 finger rocky white head that fades into a constant topper. Nose is faint with mild hops and malt. Palate is grassy malt with mild hops in the finish. Medium mouth feel with great lacing. An OK pilsner. jeg (115), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2008 Full disclosure - I am not much of a lager guy. Not much aroma here, but it was crisp and refreshing. I enjoyed this more than most of it’s style, and it makes a good session beer for poker night. Not as good as other NB beers, but better than most Pilseners. illidurit (898), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2008 Poured into a pilsener glass. Classic pale gold color with a thick 2 finger head. Nice lacing. Aroma is faint, but I can pick out some sweet toasty malt, maybe some Saaz too. Flavor is mostly cereal grain that comes out a little too heavy for the style, limiting the crispness. Now that I think about it, it’s not only cereal grainy, it actually tastes like breakfast cereal. There’s a Cheerios note in there! Anyway, the hops are almost nonexistent in the flavor, which also contributes to the lack of crispness. Drinkable but off the mark for the style as far as I’m concerned. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Bottle from beeronthewall. Gold pour with nose of Saaz hops, citrus, some honey and pale malt. Crisp, hoppy, somewhat dry flavor, with a decent balance. A decent example of this style, but not a premier example. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 29, 2008 Pours clear gold color with a two inch white head. Good lacing.
Aroma is herbal.
Taste is a bit hoppy for a Pilsner but makes it even better for me. Clean crisp taste for the style. Mildly bitter dry finish. I think I could drink many of these in one sitting. Great session brew when something lighter is called for.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Pours a clear gold, with a thin head. Tons of carbonation bubbles, in the pilsner style. Aroma is light and balanced. Flavor is in the American pilsner tradition...light, well balanced and refreshing. Palate is slightly heavier than your usual pilsner, fizzy, and finishes slightly dry. Overall a good, refreshing, drinkable pilsner. Perfect as an after lawn mowing, or softball game refresher. hockey28 (12), Buffalo, New York, USA
