Commercial Description:
Climb on in and grab a paddle. Our first foray into lagered beers, Blue Paddle Pilsener-Lager, is a Czech style pilsener with a refreshing crispness from noble hops and a rich, malty finish. ‘Blue Paddle’ refers to the implement our warehouse manager’s Grandma once used to lovingly paddle his a** when she caught him stealing sips of her beer. With more body than a traditional Belgian pils, Blue Paddle is reflective of Europe’s finest pilseners.

Got this one bottled, thank you <a href = "http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-19511.htm& Clear yellow pour with a fizzy white head, mild maltiness in the nose, a bit sour and corny. Finished weakly. Dry and pretty unappealing.

Bottle - A very nice Pilsner with a crisp malt flavor and subtle hop bitterness. The clarity was very nice and the head retention was great.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a medium white head that dimishes to a small head. The aroma is hops and wheat grass. Nice lacing on this one that stays. The taste is wheat and malt. A decent pilsener from new belgium.

Clear and bright golden yellow color with a thick white head. Faint aroma of grains and a bit of sweetness. Well-balanced but unexciting flavors of malt, grains, hops, and a bit of a grassy sweetness. Decently full-bodied mouthfeel, not thin at all. Finish was quite dry. Not bad... one the ladies would probably enjoy...

Poured golden with big fluffy white head. Aroma wasn’t very strong but I caught a floweral hint. Taste was ok at best.

On tap at Slow Club in San Fran. Clear straw yellow with a rapidly receding head leaving minimal lace. Mostly stale sweaty aroma. Unremarkable palate, bland and grainy, not nearly bitter enough to mark as a true pilsener.
