There is also apple core. The taste has A nice soft touch of citrus with grass and some slight celery in the finish. Nice and refreshing. Very well made for an American Pilsener. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 1, 2005 Well, it’s not the worst pilsner out there. I guess I just don’t like pilsners anymore. This pours a clear yellow color with a pilsner head. It’s pretty much like most other pils out there with a little bit more of a caramel flavor. Drink this one if your mowing the lawn or something. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2005 The beer poured a pale yellow color w/ thin head and thin lasting lacing. The aroma had light fruit, slight citrus notes, and a hint of flowers. The flavor had grapes, citrus, and light fermented fruit. The mouthfeel was light and thin. ericmc83 (200), Arkansas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 24, 2005 Since I have not had many pilseners I am not one to comment on its ranking with regard to its style, but merely with regard to my personal liking for the beer. The pour is pale yellow...pretty boring as far as appearance. Aroma of wheat and slight hops. Flavor is really bread-ish. I could drink it, but there are lots of other things that I would rather have. jmoney (3), elma, Washington, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2005 i had this beer at a party as things were getting weird but i liked it i tell ya..a sweet grassy taste with a smooth finish ..it didnt leave a bitter taste i was pretty impressed..i don’t know where the hell the bottle of blue paddle came from but i liked it..i’m going to ask my local store to get it .. Aroma was slightly bready with a bit of floral. Flavor matched, good malt backbone, lots of whole wheat bread, and a subtle but definite floral hop finish. Very nice stuff. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 5, 2005 Pours yellow with a white head. Very faint wheat aroma. Almost nothing in the flavor until the end, where there is a hoppy aftertaste. Yawn.
