Aroma was slightly bready with a bit of floral. Flavor matched, good malt backbone, lots of whole wheat bread, and a subtle but definite floral hop finish. Very nice stuff. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 5, 2005 Pours yellow with a white head. Very faint wheat aroma. Almost nothing in the flavor until the end, where there is a hoppy aftertaste. Yawn. thegreenrooster (1846), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Pour is a dull yellow with a white head. Aroma is almost non-existant. Flavor is more malty than hoppy and i agree with most reviews here that this is fairly average. GrainBeltGuzzler (249), Goodhue, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2005 Fairly nice looking pilsner, golden in color with a snow white head, haed retention is pretty good, head slowly fades into a soapy film. Not much flavor going on, slight maltiness, not terribly hoppy, a fairly weak offering. Never trust a coloradan to do a Midwes german’s job jus10cider82 (67), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 13, 2005 Pours very light gold with medium tight head. Smells of light hops. A very tasteless beer, very little vegatation and malt flavors. Boring for sure. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Bottle pours translucent pale golden, large foamy white head, sticky lacing, with lively carbonation. Looks mighty fine. Pale malt & grassy nose. Soft palate, smooth, with a mild malt flavor. Medium bodied. Finishes with lingering malts and grass. Slight sharpness just at the finish, but it quickly subsides. Solid, clean brew, albeit somewhat average. Decent offering.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2005 Crystal clear golden body with a fizzy, bubbly head. Slight lacing on the glass. Aromas reminded me of a fresh cut field of hay. Clean flavors. Notes of sourdough-like malt and crispy hops. Contrary to the ratings before me, I really liked this. I found it to be way more balanced thatn other American pilsners I’ve had lately from breweries like Dominion and Victory, which leaned a bit to the hoppy side.
