Maly and hops in the flavor, with a little fruit and a perfect bitter finish. A bit of graininess. Tastes like a cross between a German Pils and an American lager. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2004 Color is a clear, bright golden hue, and the head is a large, but soon slimming, solid white. Aroma is zesty, alive with hops, notes of straw and sea-foam, with hints of citrus. On the palate,
a fresh, tasty, zingy greeting of hops jumps on board, but it fades some, and leaves a dry finish. Adequate bitterness, but more than adequate taste. Body is light, malt is just-right, and hops are more than pulling their weight, and retain their presence through the end. Each sip delivers another fresh, delicious helping of hoppiness on the tongue, and this never diminishes throughout the contents of the bottle. The refreshing, tingling, vital hop buzz never quits during consumption of this note-perfect pilsener.!

Banana, honey dew melon, peanut butter, noble hops and pale malt. Well layered malty fruitiness (sauvignon blanc, pear) and notes of banana bread, lemon and a nice dry but yet still oily hop leaf finishes things out. A cornucopia of different flavors and a satisfying creamy mouthfeel. A very nice Pilsner.
