Commercial Description:
Climb on in and grab a paddle. Our first foray into lagered beers, Blue Paddle Pilsener-Lager, is a Czech style pilsener with a refreshing crispness from noble hops and a rich, malty finish. ‘Blue Paddle’ refers to the implement our warehouse manager’s Grandma once used to lovingly paddle his a** when she caught him stealing sips of her beer. With more body than a traditional Belgian pils, Blue Paddle is reflective of Europe’s finest pilseners.

A decent beer but probably off the clasic style peramiters for a Pilsner. A little more fruity and less hopped than most in the style but a suprisingly good beer. Aroma is disapointing but the flavor and decent palate mitigated this deficientcy.

Bottle. Very light straw body with a thin off white head. Nose is mellow with a lttle bit of hops and malt. The first flavor notes to come out are straw, bitter hops, and citrusy sweetness. The finish is very clean and dry. Overall a decent, thin, bitter, pilsner.

Good pils bitterness is the finest attribute of this European-inspired Pilsener. Aroma is a bit understated, but it’s in the same area code with good Pilseners.

I mostly enjoyed this one - thinner and well carbonated, zesy lemon with a grassy finish. Refreshing, but the hops actually got on my nerves a bit towards the end for some reason.

I really like this beer even though it isn’t highly rated on this site. It has a very distinctly sweet taste and little hop aroma. very deep flavor for most pilsner brews. I am very impressed

This beer has a good strong palate and and flavor. It is a classic pilsner, but much much better than a Miller. You can also smell something other than that classic Bud smell that is reall just alcohol in water. I would buy this again, if the price was nice.

This is a good "beer" beer. It has a traditional beer taste. If you are looking for something that tastes like the big 3 with more punch than this is a good beer. Much more bitter with an aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden yellow color with a foamy white head. Lively on the palate. Citrus notes that almost reminded me of limes. Clean and crisp. Nice micro lager.
