Typical pale golden colour, lasting white head, nice lacing. Strong hop presence with a decent malt balance. Slight butteriness. I'll give this a few points extra as a handicap against my lager bias. weisinator (66), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 5, 2004 Strong hop and malt aromas. Pale yellow with a creamy head. Lots of lacing all the way down the glass. Excellent malty flavor, with a hint of toasted malt and a little bit of hop flavor to work with the bitterness Alcoholist (570), Peoria, Illinois, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2004 Clear yellow with a thin frothy white head. Good smelling with citrus and hops and grass. The taste is thin and wheaty. Interesting and ovearll I think a darn good pilsner. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 3, 2004 On tap in my local alehouse. A flowery malty nose that brings some hop aroma as well. Nothing special in the color department- looks like a pilsener. Hop flavor is not as biting as some pilseners. A subtle Belgian yeast zinger sneaks into the flavor. Much better on tap than in the bottle. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 26, 2004 This pilsener pours with a golden body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet with slight malty notes and grassy, slightly woody hop notes. The flavor is bitter, slightly sour and hoppy with grassy notes and a little malt. Light bodied, slightly smooth and slightly dry. billk (300), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2004 Updated: Jul 29, 2006Bottle, 12 oz. Crystal clear golden yellow with large white head, moderate lace. I could have easily counted the very few large bubbles rising through it. Nice but light European hoppiness in the nose and on the palate. Quite dry, bitter, and tart. Pleasant grain/malt flavor complemented well with the hops. Just a bit too sharp and also somewhat harsh IMO. Maybe the result of improper storage (I bought it at room temp) was dated 28May04. Will definately try again from a different source and batch to see. 7/29/06 This pils has a grassy with a touch of lemon aroma and taste. I won’t seek it out but will drink it gladly in the summer when something better is not available.
