It has a medium golden chroma to it. Another fine beer. New Belgium has yet to disapoint me. donyboy (7), Houston, Texas, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2004 An average plsner with a bit of bite and not very much flavor to enjoy. For a thirst quencher, not bad and better than the average lager. willblake (2183), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Light gold/hay appearance, little head. Aromas are slight: wheat grass, oregano, citrus. The flavor is quite herbal, like an provincial herb tea, and somewhat in keeping with the wheatgrass aromas. A lemon farm in winter. Finish is crisp and bright, it cleanses the palate nicely. Outstanding late summer session beer. brewess (43), Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Golden yellow in color with a white head which leaves intricate lace to the bottom of the glass. The nose has more malt than the delicate hop aromas of a pilsner. Alive in the mouth, with a clean, crisp dryness. Grassiness to go with th e lawnmower. wulfhere (217), Billings, Montana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 20, 2004 Light golden hue with a moderate head that left decent lace trailing down the glass.
Nose is subtle malt, a hint of yeasty banana, virtually no hops.
Taste has some good hop bitterness with a dry, somewhat astrigent finish. Nice enough, but the esters that seperate a good pilsner from a blah pilsner just seem to be missing here. punklawyer (100), USA

Pour is golden with a frothy white head that leaves clumps of lacing behind.
Aroma is doughy, maybe a little lemon in the background.
Flavor is a little lacking, citrusy with a lttle bit of spice.
Finish is crisp and clean.
just okay MMM...Beer (385), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
