Pours a golden yellow with not much head but with all the carbonation it leaves behind a suprising amount of lacing.
Smells light and citrusy with a hint of hops.
Tastes okay but it's lacking something. There's a light taste of hops and a lemony hint of citrus, but for some reason I'm picturing apples
Mouthfeel is carbonated water. There really isn't much there.
Drinkability? I'd grab one if I was thirsty, yeah. And I could have several without problems. But there are too many better pilsners out there for the money. BBB63 (4232), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 20, 2003 Straw hue with fizzy white head and some lace. The aroma hinted of grassy and aromatic hops, biscuit, leathery yeast, lemon. The taste starts sweet with a monor bitter off-tone. A citric undertone shines through but quickly disappears to the light buttery malt and lingering bitterness. The mouthfeel was watery and not a crisp as would like in a pils. Okay I guess, nothing to seek out. jzzbassman (846), New Albany, Mississippi, USA

The palate on this has a little more body to it than most of the watery lagers ive come across. Definatly not New Belgium's strongest effort. GEOBRAU (182), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Upon tasting, all is forgiven; delicate flavor with malty backbone complimented by crisp, yet balanced hop bitterness. I will be buying this beer again. I have(at last) found a go-to Pilsner. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2003 Wow this beer poured a monsterous white foamy head..massive..it settled down after 5 minutes thoughg..nice golden beer below..good looking pils.
the aroma is quite average for this type the noble hops..weak malts etc.
weird flavour throughout each mouthful..its not bad..just cant place it....odd bitterness not the usual Noble hop taste..well whatever its pretty good.
average in the mouth , nothing out of the ordinary.
A pretty drinkable but forgettable brew..ok i suppose.
