| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 23, 2003 Pours deep yellow in color, with foamy white head that mostly remains. Aroma is slightly floral, pine sagebrush(?). Maybe I'm being swayed by the label but this really seems to have a juniper smell. Flavor is the same with a nice bitter finish. I usually don't like pilseners, but this one I find to be rather interesting. Hard to drink more than 1 or 2 though. JorisPPattyn (5191), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 2, 2003 (draught) Yellow to (very) light amber; small white head, very good lace. Very light malts nose, lightly grassy aroma. Very light malt taste, ever so slight bitterish finish. Very light body, but with a nice Champenoise pearling. Rather uninteresting pilsener. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA

Fresh grain, hop aroma. Taste of light grain and hops. Slightly bitter finish. A very drinkable pils with nice flavor. PrinceofNessus (236), Westminster, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2003 Now this beer may not be the greatest of the New Belgium Family, but it's one of the best pilsners I've had, (this from a man who dislikes pilsners). The color is a thin yellow with a huge foamy head that dissapates quickly. Theres a hoppy smooth malt sweetness smell. The taste is hoppy, with a smooth malt middle and kinda weak bittersweet and tangy finish. lemonlovr (187), Lockport, Illinois, USA

Color is golden yellow. Flavor is not as hay-like as other pilsners. Palate is average. mixamatt (427), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2003 A clean, very hoppy pilsener with a crisp, dry body. Definately a good quencher, but somewhat undermined by a light chill-haze, and a soapiness from the hops. JohnC (2286), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 26, 2003 I had this on draught today at New Belgium's brewery in Fort Collins, CO.
Appearnce: This pours clear yellow with a white head.
Aroma: there is a grassy, hoppy aroma that I detected
Flavor: It had a very dry, flat flavor. OK, I didn't like it that much. I guess I'm not a big pilsener fan. I'd advise sticking w/ their Belgian styles
