Commercial Description:
Climb on in and grab a paddle. Our first foray into lagered beers, Blue Paddle Pilsener-Lager, is a Czech style pilsener with a refreshing crispness from noble hops and a rich, malty finish. ‘Blue Paddle’ refers to the implement our warehouse manager’s Grandma once used to lovingly paddle his a** when she caught him stealing sips of her beer. With more body than a traditional Belgian pils, Blue Paddle is reflective of Europe’s finest pilseners.

Drank from bottle. Pours a very clear yellow. Hint of hops, grassy, some fruityness (very subtle). Very smooth and drinkable. Good Pilsner.

Draft at flying saucer little rock. Pours a clear light yellow with minimal white head. Saaz grassy hops all the way. Perfectly average for the style. Good substitute for Bud. Blah, blah, blah...

Good beer, has a roasted malt flavor, no hop flavor. Has the after taste of hay. Bottle foamed over when I opened it so has a good head. It’s worth a try.

Musty aroma after a golden pour. Lemongrass and malt with a subtle hop flavor. OK drinker.

Nice head of foam with a wonderful golden color. Smell weak but in keeping with the style. Brussels lace clings to the glass. Overall not bad especially for a pilsner.

Draft: Poured a clear yellow with an aroma of grains and lemons. The flavor was sweet, lemons, and a bit of hop character. Overall, not as good a Sunshine Pils, but still easy to drink.

Pours yellow with a big white head. Aroma is grassy lemony hops. Flavor is slightly hoppy, light citrus, with a little bready malt.
