NephrenKa (27), Ft. Collins, Colorado, USA Dec 10, 2006 This isn’t a good beer, or a bad one. By earning the title of mediocre, it is worse than good or bad. This beer has almost no head, and a bland yellow color. When I took a sniff, I had to take a few deep inhales to get anything. The "anything" turned out to be a faintly sour odor, with a hint of urine lurking somewhere. The taste does not distinguish itself into phases of time, as do most decent beers. It has a singular simple flavor that is modestly pleasing, but entirely unexceptional, leaving only the faintest tingle on the tongue after swallowing.
BMan1113VR (1161), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Dec 3, 2008 Pours with a fluffy, decent sized white head and a clear golden body. Good lacing. Aroma of grass and sweet, raw malt. Taste is crisp with grass and cereal. Decently bitter on the finish. A touch metallic, but a good pilsner, and very drinkable. Lively, but non forced carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Good for what it is. If I was rating on strict style guidelines this would be a lot higher, but I am rating on preferences. soyorganic (138), Denver, Colorado, USA Nov 28, 2008 Bottle: pours a light golden color with white head. I do enjoy the slight spice taste and dryness that makes this a thirst quenching beer. The aftertaste lingers for awhile. lithy (385), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 18, 2008 Bottle thanks to unclemike. Clear honey yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is corny and dry pils malt. Taste is only slight malt and slight bittering. Mild, inoffensive. Crisp biting finish. jjpm74 (3448), Connecticut, USA Nov 1, 2008 Pours goild with a white head.
