From bottle, blind #9, courtesy of thewolf. Pours dark brown to golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is dry acidic and fruity. Distinct barnyard too. Acidic, spiced and sour flavoured. Light malt base. Sour to acidic flavoured finish. Smooth and yet with a light acetone bite.

Bottle. [thank you, after4ever]
[Bottle #9 in the Kolding Blindtasting, 20th June 2009]
Pours clear orange with a small, film head. Aroma is quite tart, a touch of caramel, lots of oranges, oak and lactic acid.Very nicely balanced. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, oranges, red currants, strawberries, apples. A long, lingering, tart lemony aftertaste with just a hint of caramel. Really nice American sour.

Bottle... C&P’sLYFO Throwdown... This beer rocks!... Cloudy golden ale with a very small, fizzy, white head. Funky, acidic, yeasty aroma and flavor – vintage cheese, warm sourdough and all the fantastic funkhouse characteristics of Le Terroir and Lips of Faith. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes tart, tangy and dry. Thanks to fogdog for bringing this bottle to the Throwdown! Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe

Draft pour @ Brouwer’s Sour Fest 2009. Cloud dark copper brown body, somewhat muddy/dirty in appearance. Full on acetic nose, the Love character is so easily evident, the woody/nutty apple cider vinegar acetic acid, wonderful aroma. Salty, peppery, spicy, acetic. Bready, muddy, frothy, soft carbonation. Finishes prickly and spritzy. Seems like a dirtier version of La Folie/Love. Good but not great.

Bottle. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Hazy amber body. Fruity sour grapefruit aroma. Red currants lemon grapefruit flavor with a long and strong bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation.
