Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy medium white head, excellent lacing. Definitely looks like a wit. Fragrant aroma of chamomile, lemon zest and floral citrus hops with background yeast. Bitter citrus hop lemon flavor that finishes smooth, very drinkable. Light and clean, refreshing palate. brentfeesh (1038), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 4, 2005 I really enjoyed this and so, just had to rate it. Poured a whitish cloudy urine yellow with minimal though lingering head. Had a great spicy nose of fresh, crisp hops. Wonderfully crisp hop flavor (spicey:grassy-fresh hop leaves) light spice of chamomile. Bitter but well balanced. Simple and Good. Medium body and mouth feel, slightly astringent finish. Though some people thought it smelled/tasted soapy I disagreed. I really liked it. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2005 Very murky light yellow with a witbier appearance. Very fresh and hoppy leaf aroma, some sweet spicy chamomile notes as well. Milky notes are there too, which detracts from or even ruins the experience of the grassy hop cone aroma. Buttery on the tongue, with sharp hops and oilive oil and milk notes present. Palate is firm and frothy. Very interesting, and certainly unique, but it just doesn’t do anything for me. fly (1332), austin, Tejas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 3, 2005 Okay, are these beers that were created by and employee that don’t appear to be intended for sale really menat to be rated? I sure wouldn’t cry if my rating was deleted and perhaps I misunderstodd what was said at the bar, but the woman behind it said it was her boyfriend that created it. Perhaps it was clashing with the other beers I was sampling, but rather than getting an aggressive hop character, I felt it was just finky and not too well complimenting the thinnish malt body. Head is white, mostly lasting.
Body is hazy light yellow.

Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Damnedest thing...I *LOVE* Hallertauer. It’s my favorite hop. Works beautifully in every style it appears in, from Helles to stout. But this beer doesn’t smell anything at all like Hallertauer. It’s very resinous smelling. No honeysuckle at all. It was so annoyingly piney and strong that I really didn’t notice any chamomile either. Poorly balanced in the mouth as well, quite bitter and citric without enough malt to help out. I couldn’t even finish the little sample of it. As bad as Loft? Tough one. But just as undrinkable for me. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2005 Pours a very cloudy off yellow, with a huge white head. Looks like a belgian wit. Brewed with one hop, one malt, one spice (chamomille), all organic. The hops are spicy, striking. Lots of bubblegum and candy flavor makes this a sweet brew. Chamommile comes through for sure, adding a funky spiciness. Strange beer, ok.
