I must admit this was quite tasty, and I am generally not a big fan of New Belgium in any way shape or form. This pours seriously like grapefruit juice, almost white, and very cloudy. Aroma is sweet and tea like, with some really nice background fruitiness, and that is followed by a very pungent hop aroma. Unfiltered and nicely hoppy iun the flavor, with just a hint of chamomile coming in the background. Nicely done.

Draught at New Belgium. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy medium white head, excellent lacing. Definitely looks like a wit. Fragrant aroma of chamomile, lemon zest and floral citrus hops with background yeast. Bitter citrus hop lemon flavor that finishes smooth, very drinkable. Light and clean, refreshing palate.

I really enjoyed this and so, just had to rate it. Poured a whitish cloudy urine yellow with minimal though lingering head. Had a great spicy nose of fresh, crisp hops. Wonderfully crisp hop flavor (spicey:grassy-fresh hop leaves) light spice of chamomile. Bitter but well balanced. Simple and Good. Medium body and mouth feel, slightly astringent finish. Though some people thought it smelled/tasted soapy I disagreed. I really liked it.

Had on tap at Hopyard in Pleasanton. Pour from tap was a hazy yellowish color with a nice head. I didn’t get much from the aroma. It has a medium mouthfeel. Flavor was sweet, little spice to it, malty with barely any hop profile. It was drinkable, refreshing in some ways.

had this at the brewery in fort collins however they called it test beer jr0805.? yellow hazy beer with a white flat iron head. nose of citrus and spice. somehat like witt beer but with more of a hoppy afterglow. crisp and mellow. good. probably would be great on hot summer day. one of the brew staff filled up a glass with la folie and half of this...now that is what i’m talking about man. mix the two for a great fuckn beer.

On draft @ Barclays on College. Murky yellow color with wit colored hues. Sizable white head. There was almost nothing in the aroma maybe slightly phenolic but nothing else. Slightly sweet, spicy flavor with the chamomile really coming out. Slight banana notes as well. Dry aftertaste with no hop presence.

Draft. Pale hazy yellow with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with lots of spice. Yeasty flavor - banana, clove and sweet malt. Drinkable with some complexity. It seemed like a cross between a wit and light abbey.

Very murky light yellow with a witbier appearance. Very fresh and hoppy leaf aroma, some sweet spicy chamomile notes as well. Milky notes are there too, which detracts from or even ruins the experience of the grassy hop cone aroma. Buttery on the tongue, with sharp hops and oilive oil and milk notes present. Palate is firm and frothy. Very interesting, and certainly unique, but it just doesn’t do anything for me.
