Commercial Description:
Brew in honor of the New Belgium’s 15th anniversary. It is a tip of the hat to Orval.

On-tap at Churchill’s. Pours hazy yellow with a crisp white head, good lace, decent retention. Smells light fruity and sweet. Taste is alright, some sweet fruits, peach maybe, followed by some crisp maltiness. Pretty bland flavor actually. Thin body, super crisp carbonation.

On tap @ 1702 (Tucson) - Pours a hazy light golden color with a 1" white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is esters and a touch of barnyard. Flavor is esters and spice. This was a good, smooth easy drinking beer. Try it if you can find it.

Draught at Cicero’s in St. Louis. Pour is a hazy light gold with a one finger head. Aromas are spicy with touches of lemon and grass. Almost a peppery edge to it. Flavor is a mix of cloves and pepper with some yeast and wheat that balances things out to leave a lemony zest finish. Very nice.

I personally like it better than Orval (which I am not a fan of). On tap at the Fathers Office. Pours with a rocky, white head covering a cloudy yellow body. Aroma of banana, yeast, spiceyness, and a bit of leather. Taste is spicey with a bit of DMS, apple and brett. Very light and refreshing. Watery mouthfeel with lively carbonation.

Draft at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver. Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of orange, hops, and yeast. Doughy flavor, with a strong citrusy sweetness and a twinge of funkiness. Very little hops. Finishes tart and sweet; very delicate. It’s super complex but not at all in your face about it. Good stuff.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a cloudy gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of barnyard funk, citrus and light leather. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, light barnyard, light citrus and a hint of leather with a smooth bretty finish.
