(750ml Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy orange body with a spare white head. Nose is sour beyond belief! Flavor of lemon sourness with a dry oak finish. Huge thanks for sharing Jason!

Draught @ Brouwer’s Café: Orangish caramel, very thick and hazy, large foamy white head, assertive carbonation, sticky lacing.   How can this one look any better?   The nose on this hit me from quite a ways away, distinctive oak, but also a touch of flora and that pixie stix and/or koolaid sugar up your nose sorta twang.   Seems somewhat like a tart sweetness, even before trying it.   Whoa!   This one is super tart, and super dry. This is up their in the likely hood of giving me acid reflux. This has the whole shebang, tart, sour, and quite dry.   Jolly good!   Full bodied, moderate to full mouthfeel.   Damn, this is some powerful stuff!   Finishes very dry, a little spritzy, it also has a very slight hint of some flora and fruit peel, candied stuff... Ya know, both sweet and sour at the same time.   Fantastic stuff, but hard to drink more than one glass in a sitting.   Probably a few notches above La Folie, but without all if its fruitiness.   Very glad I was finally able to try it.

On tap at Liar’s Club. Hazy orange with creamy white head. Sour apple and citrus aroma. Light bodied crisp palate. Lip puckering lemon sourness with a very dry oaky finish.

Definitely a funky, sour taste to this one, which I found quite attractive. Takes some getting used to, but it was a nice take on a Flemish sour. Pale golden color, nice head and lacing, lots of powerful flavors. Definitely worth trying.

RBSG 2007 Overnight Tasting - Lightly hazed orange, thin white creamy head. Nose held deep notes of funk, oak, cheddar, and lemony citrus. Puckering slap your taste buds sour that tastes like an supped-up funky yellow sour patch kid. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry, sour citric finish. Rivals La Folie for the king of sour. Fantastic brew. Thanks for sharing Boboski...

Poured a dense dark straw color with a white head and lace. Initial big sour character from the light/medium bodied brew. Lasting acidic character through to the finish. I didn’t get any fruit character or some of the complexity of earlier works.

Draft sample, on the tour of New Belgium. Wonderfully funky aroma, lots of earth, grass, sweat, hay, vinegar...the list goes on. The taste was a lot more one dimensional to me in comparison though. Some dry woodiness fighting with the wet sour vinager flavors. To me there just wasn’t much else to this beer. Slick and well-carbonated. To me, La Folie offers a lot more flavors, balance, and subtlety.
