On tap @ Liar’s Club. Heard good buildup to this and I was not disappointed. Mostly reminded me to a lighter La Folie but with enough of a hop finish to distinguish it from the other Flemish ales out there. Unique and tasty. Glad I got to try this.

Courtesy Big Tom from Unique Beers. Thank you sir. Pours a light copper with a thin white head. Smells pretty acidic with some lemons and oranges making up the citrus side of the smell. The taste is actually more subtle tannins with more of the fruit noticably takng over. I rather enjoyed it, because of that fact. Sometimes I like sour beers and gueze’s to calm down some.

Draught today @ Choice City Butcher & Deli. A lovely sour ale. It opens up with an intense sourness then leans towards light hints of caramel and sour apples. Honestly, I didn’t perceive much hop character. A tremendous brew.

Really enjoyed this one....on tap at Collins Pub. Big sourness mixed with a pine hop bite at the end is a nice combo....big acidic fruity aroma. Yummy.

EBF 2007: Hazy golden color with a big white head. Aroma, sour some light fruits, oranges and peach, yeast and some pale malts. Flavor, a tart sourness, some lemon and apple, nice acidity. This beer was really good.

Mostly clear light amber with a frothy white head. Sweet and sour aroma with some tropical fruit(mango?) and fingernail polish notes. Very well balanced sweet/sour flavor with some pieapple and noticable American hop presence. Creamy body. Clean acidic finish, though it has lingering sweetness. Excellent.

I can’t believe I hadn’t rated this beer yet. Had it a GABF ’05 for the first time. This time my local got some as a one off special treat. And what a treat it is. It pours a hazy orange with some head and a little lacing. Nice sour vinegar nose with hint of citrus. Very sour in the flavor. Nice light body. Very nice beer.
