Sampled at the 2009 Stone Sour Festival. Another favorite on the day. Flavors of sour peaches, and a mouth dry hoppiness. Interesting.

Tap at Stone Sour 09. I really liked this. Nose was full and spiced with flowers, rind, wood. Flavor was profoundly tart, like Sanctification on its period. Very clean.

On tap at Stone Sour fest gave a gold hue with a small head. Good smell of tart fruit. Super rich and smooth in your mouth. Sour flavors up front inter mixed with great apple fruitiness. Throw in a bit of oak from the barrel. Good complexity of flavors. Finish is well balanced with a sweet tartness. Great beer for sure.

On tap at Stone Sourfest. Pours with a hazy golden body and a small white head. Aroma of hops, lemon, tea, wine, lacto, dirt and pineapple. Taste is hops, pineapple and oak in a very nice harmony. Acidic. Light bubbles.

Tap at 2009 Stone Sour Fest. Pours a gold leaning brown. Tea, earthy hops, wood barrels, a nice tartness upfront, light fruitiness, lemon, melon, Brett funk. A delicious beer, one of many highlights.

Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured orange with a thick, off-white head. The beer was good, but had an off quality to me. Could have been the dry hopping with a funky yeast character. Very tart and acidic. One of the more puckering sours I have had in awhile. So much that it was a little over powering and I couldn’t decipher much of the flavors. I did get a bitter, fruit like a peach in there.

On tap at Brouwer’s- I was amazed that it lasted this long after Sour Fest (this was one of the few I wanted to try but didn’t get around to). Pours hazy orange with a nice peach head. Smells and tastes mostly of sour apples with some slightly funky wood. Nice strong vinegary finish.

Bottle shared by psprings at hellbilly’s holiday tasting. Batch 1. Clear golden amber pour with a small foamy head. Aroma is malt, sour berries, a bit of vinegar and citrus. Flavor is nicely sour with lots of berries and funk. Pretty good stuff. Thanks Paul!
