Bright orange. Sour nose that doesn’t quit emitting its fruit rind funk. This is f’n LOVELY beer with a superior sour tang that mellows out into fine grainy goodness. Mature and memorable!

Pre Tasting 08 PP Belgian Fest w/ my girlfriend Cyn, Bartzilla and Galtscat. 750ml bottle that Lee gave Bart for his birthday last year and Bartzilla saved in and brought it out. Damn this is good, it was a little oxidized but no biggy. Pour orange with a than ring. Nose is light sour and really nice. Taste is sour sweet, with vinegar, big big big tart as shit. Awesome beer, with a slight hint of spice. DAMN!

Pours hazy, orangy gold. A white, somewhat porous head rose to about a quarter inch and fell fairly quick. No lacework. The pungent, sour, funky aromatics practically lept from the bottle as I caught a whiff immediately upon pouring. Tannin-laden fruit pulp, cider vinegar, and mustard greens clear the nostrils. A melange of soured granny smith apples, fermented peach skins, pepper-dusted lemon pith, and cedar chips. Plenty wild in character, with the tannins becoming more oaky in nature as the brew warms. The lingering tart, complex nature lingers after the glass is withdrawn from the nose, leaving behind a trace of cinnamon. The mouthfeel is thinnish and sharp. Light carbonation complements the beer without interfering with the layers of body. The pallet is as promised by the nose- sharp and tart. Boldly acidic but not in an offensive manner. The complexites of the pallet come forward not at first sip, but as it lingers on the tongue and warms the back of the throat. First the sour/tart onslaught, followed by the intense citrus character. Fermented fruit with a lactic veil. Apple skins, peach pits, and grape stems, along with a lingering "beer on a dusty blanket" finish. To say the finish is long would be an understatement, as the beer makes an indelible impression on the imbiber.

On tap at the brewery. Awesome hazy orange color with a white head that fades to a ring. Tart, funky aroma with hints of cherries and citrus. Flavor is sour right off the bat with hints of citrus, leading into a sweet, oaky, cherry finish that was crisp and begged you to drink more. Riverside hit it on the dot when he said it was like drinking a sour warhead, but in the best way possible. Great beer.

I first had this at Falling Rock and couldn’t finish it. Had it again at the taproom, much better. Pours a hazy light orange. Sour citrus aroma leads into a sour oakey taste. Long finish. This will overwhelm your senses, so don’t try other beers after it.

Orange color with a nice head and a super sour warheads like aroma. Lemons as well. More or less tasted like expired orange juice but in a good way. Like drinking warheads candy. Funky, sour, dry, and acidic finish. Give me more!

Bronze in color and shiny with gigantic head of lace inducing tight microscopic bubbles. Nose of sour apricot and pinapple. Sour and clean flavors ride soft carbination. Apricot and pineapple core dominate. Sugary gum flavors guard the exit. nice.
