Draft at New Belgium. Cloudy orange colored body, small white head. Bit of stenchy green grains in the nose, along with some dough, crackers, some sour lactic acid as well... nose has more of this creamy grain character, but there’s also some strange ginger and soap notes, even some gin/juniper. Okay but forgettable, very muted and bland overall.

Draught. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs), trace yeast (cobwebs), with hints of lemon zest and pepper. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Straightforward and a bit rough...grainy/husky malt character in the nose is also apparent in the finish. Some decent esters and phenols have been coaxed out of the fermentation, but they’re very light here. Plays it very safe and so the rough areas tend to stick out a bit. All in all a miss for me, but reasonably average on a world scale.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a hazy amber with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of yeast, bread dough, light fruittiness and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of yeast, bread dough, light fruittiness and a hint of spice with a smooth fruity finish.

Draught at brewery. Pours hazy dark yellow with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw), light hops (flowers, grass), average yeast (earth) with notes of grapes and faint cranberry. Light bodied, spicy texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness and bitterness, moderate acidity. I would not have known to be on the lookout for cranberries except that I was told they were there. They were but very faint.

Growler from pepsican. Poured a slightly hazy medium orange color with a white head. The aroma was of sweet corn, subdued lemon, and mixed cereal grains. Medium bodied and semi-sweet. Lemon and sweet corn came out again in the flavor along with plenty of fresh cereal grain in the finish and a hint of butter. Eh.
