Oct 8, 2008 Tap @ trinity as Loose Lips saison which I understand to be the same beers as lips of faith. A wonderful orange hughe with faint white head. Faint berry hints, mostly in the finish to an otherwise solid saison.

Oct 24, 2008 Tap @ trinity as Loose Lips saison. Supposed to have cranberry and a mild tartness, but I have trouble detecting it. Cloudy yellow. A little banana. Easy to drink.

Jan 7, 2009 From the growler. Pours a hazy dark golden orange with a thin white head that quickly goes to a thin collar.
The aroma is banana, spices (clove), lemon and some earthy yeast.
The flavor is sweet acidic and slightly tart citric fruits with some light banana and clove spice. Some musty yeast comes out as it warms. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth with low carbonation.
Overall, a nice saison. It’s a little too much on the sweet and fruity side - more funk would be good.

Dec 2, 2009 Draft at 12 South Tap Room. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of Belgian esters, lemon, and peach. Lighter side of medium bodied with a fine carbonation. Flavor of wheat malts and peach, with very little sourness or funk. Slightly acidic finish. Not bad, but not exciting either.

Dec 30, 2008 Sampled from a growler sent by a dear friend. Thanks, Jeff!!! Lustrous pour, gleaming golden body with just a hint of the cran color in there. Lively carbonation. Nose is pert and spicy with some berries, and a touch too much diacetyl alas. The body is fairly full, with soft citrus notes playing with spicy yeast, cranberry, and a mild grassiness in the finish. A bit too chewy to be a top-notch saison but a real pleasure nonetheless.

Nov 21, 2008 Draught at New Belgium Brewery. Cloudy amber - white head. Citrus, freshness, light dusty, light sourness, dusty, light brett, sweetness, peppery, fruity, apples, citrus, spicy, yeasty. Nice.

Jul 14, 2009 A slightly cloudy golden pour with a two finger sized gold head. A nice aroma of yeast, hops, floral notes, fruit. First sip offers more funkiness than expected. There is some sweet peach which morphs into grain in the same sip. Peppery spice, mild malt, and light sourness. This is a very nice and light summer drink. The alcohol does not overpower which is true to the original style. It is very refreshing and interesting.

Sep 20, 2008 Cloudy copper color with white head. Spice dry fruity nose. Hints of cranberry spice and a bite of something I couldn’t get a grip on. Finish leaves a dry spice on the palate.
