Sep 6, 2009 Tap at KC Flying Saucer. Dark cloudy gold with a thin white head. Sweet nose with dandelions and cookies. The taste is sweet donuts with some finish of orange rind. Nicely done, I found this one to be well balanced between the sweetness and earthy backbone that I get in most NB ales. This is something I would like to try again.

Aug 31, 2009 Draft at Sheffield’s Chicago. Pours an orangey yellow, small head. Nose is very floral and bitter, like when you break the stem of a weed. Light citrus in the nose as well as a strong grain presence. Taste is very interesting, very interesting true bitterness along with fruity herbal notes and light spice, white pepper. Aug 10, 2009 Dark golden amber color. Starts off with a nice bold white head. Sweet subtle malt notes in the aroma. A little flowery on the nose some light friut notes. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. A little spicy clearer in the aftertaste. A green veggie flavor lingers on the palate, green beans maybe. A easy drinking refreshing beer, thanks Papago.
