Draft at Belmont Station: Pours golden color with small white head. Sour honey and fruit aroma is very nice. Flavor is at first light on the palate and a little sweet and then lots of sour, notes of soured peach. A little more malty and fruity on the finish and the body seems gto get a little bit thicker. Medium sourness and fruitiness, very balanced, delicious.

Tap at New Belgium Tasting room. Tasted with La Folie and could definitely taste the lightness and less woody flavor. Wonderful sour tartiness. Enjoyed it!

tap. at first i thought the bartender had given me la folie. has that similar tart sour nose, it is a touch lighter, i had to order a la folie afterwards to make sure. soured uo from the get go. ends a bit chalky. i was reaaly thinking apricot, but if they say peaches, i’ll not argue. tart without the jaw clinching sourness of some of my favorite beers. 5 bucks a half pint ain’t bad for an occasional treat.

On tap at Flying Saucer-Little Rock (!!). One of those beers you never thought you would get to try-except by lucky circumstance at the brewery. Funny (or not so), the bartendress said it was a SWEET beer-of course she could not sample the wares because she was pregnant. This came off as exceedingly tart and bitter with nice but not overbearing peach tones. Very drinkable and a great summertime beers. Very much a lambic-styled beer which I love. This has to be a one-off for the FS in LR.

Draught @ the Flying Saucer Little Rock. Golden/orange and clear. Nose is very peachy and pleasant. Flavor is very sour like the La Follie, but I like this better. The peach flavors are tart and surprising.

Lips of Faith Sour version. Awesome orange/red cloudy body with thin white head that disappears (detracting). Sour nose and fruity notes. Very sour taste and similar to other sour lambics; similar to sour patch candy. Good.

Sampled at the STL microfest..... well sampled many many times since this was a magnificent beer. This was worth the price of admission alone. Poured clear orange with a small white head. The aroma had sourness, a touch of wood and hints of peach. Medium / thin boyd with light sharp carbonation that stayed in the background. The taste was beautiful - started with earthy grainy sourness straight from the great Flemish Sour examples, light vinegar and dry peach. the finish has more peach and a pure crispness that was so welcome of a warm St. Louis afternoon. This beer was crisp, light, refreshing, over-the-top flavorful and wonderful on all accounts. This is a beer I may only have the opportunity to have on one day.... if so, I took full advantage of the situation. If this ever gets a proper release I will buy a case the day it is available to me. This is truly a great beer I hope to have again someday. Gargantuan thumbs up for this great Flemish sour ale (that’s listed as a fruit beer).
