Aroma has light funk note over a lot of citrus, floral and breadiness. Medium plus body with firm carbonation. Flavor is estery/yeasty, fruity, and an overall funkiness. Or it could be some herb I’m not familiar with, but funk works for me. Finishes a bit fruitier than it started. Just plain delicious. Headbanger (1588), Aurora, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Bomber. Slightly lemony, farty, cheese aroma. Nice, dryish, bitter, lavender flavor, with a bit of chemicals in the finish. An Orval clone, I guess, but not particularly well executed. jstraw (767), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2009 22oz bomber, no date.Clear golden with a one finger off-white head, good retention. Fruity (pineapple), floral, and lightly herbal hoppy nose with some faint lemon and Belgian yeast behind. The flavor had hoppier herbal notes with the florals a little diminished. Not as much pineapple, either. Semi-dry earthy finish with bitterness @ a 3. Light to medium body with light prickly carbonation. Would like to revisit this once the brett kicks in more with the flavor. travita (1921), Frisco, Texas, USA
