| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Nice pale ale--better than some of the well-known new belgium beers. Big white head with nice lacing. Floral aroma, lots of crystal malt in the flavor with a floral, hoppy finish. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma is a pleasant blend of resin, light honey, spicy-flowery hop and light orange. Taste is the same. Near-medium body is smooth and dryish. Crunchy lacing. By far the best of the 8 NB beers I’ve tried, and a nice session ale. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

This should be the flagship rather than FT....nice approachable APA with grapefruit and hay notes. Very quaffable, nice balance, and very well made. DalzAle (492), Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA

Flavor was sweet malts, light hops and finished sweet and tasting of honey. A good session beer. Cavie (1408), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Dark yellow color. Strong smell of hops and faint hints of honey, which it said was brewed with. Taste is light on the hops, with the honey providing for a very nice finish. Probably one of the best pale ales I have ever had. curly (598), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2009 Clear amber and orange color. Foamy white head, good lace. Smells just like pineapple juice and that’s what it tastes like. Way too sweet, let’s get this thing some bitterness. Also a little thin, but a great beer for people that are new to good beer.
