Hoppy aroma with some light malty notes as well. Tastes like light toasted malts mixed with floral hops. A decent amount of citrus and lively carbonation. Light pine finish as well. Good palate. Seems like a pretty typical APA to me. iabeerguy (175), Iowa, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2009 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma is mildy hoppy with a hint of malt. The flavor is lacking in the hop department, but there is a nice malty and grainy aftertaste that linger. Not bad, but nothing special. hopscotch (5528), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Bottle… Lightly hazed yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Pretty good retention. The aroma is a delicate blend of toffee, honey, grapefruit and Mandarin orange. Medium to full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and radiant carbonation. Leans slightly on the sweet side of balance. Some mashy and toffee aspects. Finishes crisp and lightly bitter, then sort of dries out and fades away. Easy to drink and nice to quench thirst. Food Pairing: Definitely bread, quiche and foccacias. DrnkMcDermott (1861), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle, "Mix-a-six" rack at Hy-Vee, Storm Lake, IA. Pours kind of orangey, close to a good IPA color. Smell shows off spicier pale ale hops instead of a hop-head bouquet. Taste shows good pale ale malt, bitterness is peppery rather than citrusy at first, but then a bit of piney Cascade finally appears. Soda pop-style carbonation is not the best choice for this kind of beer, though. monkeychugg55 (242), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Pours a golden amber with a medium to small white head that laces fairly well. Aroma is very inviting...the hops are very prominent. There is also a subtle sweetness present, along with some toasted notes. The taste is lighter than the aroma would suggest. There is a faint hop bitterness, very light malt, but not much else. The first sip makes me wonder where the hops went. This doesn’t strike me as an apa, seems too light.Decent palate with moderate carbonation. An easy drinker, great aroma, but light on the flavor. GardenGabe (129), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2009 Pour is light golden with a dense creamy tan head. Settles with nice lacing. Smells of cloves, cheese, lavender, and honey. Taste is surprising since it has such a subtle smell. Bitter with a softer finish. Chewy with a thin finish.
