Jul 2, 2008 On tap at Famous Dick’s BBQ. Pours clear bright copper with a thick and lacy white head. Aroma of earth and citrus. Medium body and carbonation. Citrus, apple and toffee taste with a bit of bitterness, grass and touch of tartness in the finish. It held up well against the barbecue.

Jun 28, 2008 Pours a clear pale amber colour with large tight creamy off white head.
Aroma is nice floral hop. Light citrus-grapefruit, some caramel.
Flavour is not as hop forward as aroma suggests. Nice earthy sweet malt presence, a little peppery. Good balance with the bitterness.
Very nice APA.

Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Clear amer color. Very earthy smell to it. A light bitter/sour aftertaste which becomes more delightful. A nice choice of drink.

Jun 16, 2008 Growler, light white head, hoppy aroma, deep golden color. Nicely hopped and balanced, finish is very smooth. Very good drinkable beer.

Jun 7, 2008 The nose is a very hoppy. A very smooth easy drinking pale ale. This has a very fine light finish that just makes you want another. I have yet to be disappointed with anything from the New Belgium brewery. Even if your not a pale ale drinker, I would highly recommend trying it.

Jun 6, 2008 New Belgium amazes me with how they are able to break their usual mold, yet keep their signature flavor... and still make an incredible beer!
Mighty Arrow has a bold hop character, which is sort of out of the ordinary for New Belgium. The One thing that I think of with this beer is... BALANCE. When I think of New Belgium, I think of that signature malt character, you know... that nutty, Fat-Tire-esque flavor. I love that flavor, and it is paired nicely with the bold hop profile mentioned above, to create a very balanced pale ale.
Definately worth buying.

Jun 4, 2008 Draft: Golden with a smaller white head. Aroma is lightly floral and a bit grassey. Taste is grainy with light grassey hops and a little bit of malt. Rather sour and brash. Sampled at some dive bar in Sun Valley... could have been foul tap lines? I’ll try to re-rate this one.
