Commercial Description:
MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim’s Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn’t patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn’t like. Atta girl Arrow.

Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Nice summer fruit/tropical fruit aroma with a bit of grapefruit. Grapefruit flavor with light pine and a bit of ceral malt backing. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit lingers with some malt and pine. Decent bitterness and not bad.

A nice AP, thin on the body. A pedestrian appearance and head....amber and minimal. Nice aroma of citrus and faint woods. taste of dried apricots, citrus, and sweet malts.

Bottle pours clear gold in color with a sloppy white head. Quite a bit going on in the nose, with aromas of citrus, pine, and wet floral hops. Taste is very typical of a PA with some grapefruit and pineapple. Overall mouthfeel is light without being flimsy, and leads into a bitter, slightly soapy, finish. Nice stuff.

This poured a dark golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some pine as well as oranges and grapefruit. A definite floral presence there. The flavor is rather bitter with some pine, oranges, grapefruits, and lemons. The finish is rather dry. Color me impressed this was a very well done APA!

On tap at my former favorite bar in town, Good Times. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Bright golden pour with a two finger white head that faded almost immediately and left very little lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine, light malt. Flavor much the same with the cascade hop taste being most prominent to my tongue. Bit of a soapy aftertaste. Average pale ale.

Pours a golden hue with a medium frothy white head, light body, and floral aroma. Piney nose with hints of grass, citrus, and a lot of hoppy bitterness for an APA; almost seems more like an IPA. A very tasty and bitter beer.

Flavor, hops and amazing palate. Put all those together with a great aftertaste and this is what you get. Very refreshing.
