Commercial Description:
MIGHTY ARROW Pale Ale provides lots of pleasurable sniffs from Amarillo and Cascade hops with a fetching honey malt base. This is our brewed tribute to Arrow, Kim’s Aussie/Border Collie mix who ran (literally) New Belgium for 12 years. When she wasn’t patrolling the brewery grounds, she was famous for her office visits: She never met a tummy rub she didn’t like. Atta girl Arrow.

Pours a bright translucent orangeish yellow colour. Large frothy top white with beautiful sticky lacing. Aroma is fresh with cascade hops straight in your nose. Taste is creamy, slightly bitter, very smooth with floral notes following through. Nice clean refresing brew.

Nice crisp straw color with shallow head. Strong hop aroma - citrusy but light body with honey notes in the flavor profile. Whole lot going on in this one.

Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Bright yellow-gold, started with moderate sized head but faded fast. Evident citrus smell from cascade hops, and slight biscuit tones. Mixture of citrusy cascade hop bite and biscuit malts. Almost spicy. Why does every non-Belgian beer that New Belgium makes have this same biscuit taste? Getting tired of it. Smooth, low to medium carbonation, kind of watery and thin. Light but flavorful APA, and is a somewhat different take on the style. That said, the biscuit malts are a little out of place and the beer is a little too thin. Still, nice Spring seasonal.

Bottle from Icecody69, thanks! Golden color. Tangerine, red berries, flowers and hay in the aroma. Tangerine and red berries in the earthy, slightly oily hopflavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Pineapple. Friendly, very pleasant ale.

12oz bottle 8/22/09-Pours a clear golden with a nice white head which emits an aroma of citrus hops and slight malt. Taste of the same with a bit of sweetness thrown in. This medium bodied brew is not bad and quite refreshing.

On tap. Pours a crystal clear golden amber, with a large off white head that has excellent retention. Aroma has floral and citrus hop elements, with some pale malt in the background. Flavor has some light malt and honey, along with a mild citrus hop flavor. Finishes somewhat dry, with a mild to moderate hop bitterness that lingers for a short time. Medium body, with moderate carbonation. Overall, a pleasant and refreshing pale ale.
