Commercial Description:
Our first venture into organically-produced beer, Mothership Wit Organic Wheat Beer elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium. Our far-flung Beer Rangers affectionately refer to our Fort Collins brewery as the Mothership, a name that conjures images of earth shot from space and the interconnectivity of it all. Mothership Wit is brewed with wheat and barley malt, as well as coriander and orange peel spicing resulting in a balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation.

A real pale golden color. Smells of clove and coriander. The taste is rather spicey involving clove, coriander, orange peel, and some banana.

Hazy, pale wheat color with minimal head. Aroma of citrus, with some floral spices in the mix. Crisp, light bodied wheat taste. But it had the sense of a kick of alcohol. Kind of surprised it’s only 4.8%. Lemon pepper spice rounds out the flavor. Nice, balanced finish.

Draught. High and lasting white head. Hazy light green body. Lemon coriander aroma. Mild banana lemon coriander flavor with high carbonation and a short aftertaste.

From a 12oz Bottle. Mostly hazy, pale straw color with a fizzy head of brilliant white. Powerful coriander herbalness in the nose, along with some spicy pepper and rubber band. Lemons, clove, and coriander. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel with a soft creamy texture. Bready, milky, cream of wheat sweetness up front on the palate, followed by some bright, spicy pepper. A mild rubbery note comes through mid-palate, the only disappointing character of the beer. Lots of coriander in the finish. A pleasant wheat acidity adds an enjoyable freshness. A little overspiced for my tastes.

Draught at the Yardhouse, Las Vegas
Cloudy pale blond color. The aroma is quite fruity, the mothfeel very weak, with a rather refreshing (but too simple) flavor, a bit herbal too.

Slightly cloudy yellow/tan pour with tight white head and lace. Aroma of ginger and corriander. Flavor of wheat light spices with a mild pleasant bitter. Carbonation is good. A nice clovish after taste light bitter combine to make it a pretty nice beer.
