Commercial Description:
Our first venture into organically-produced beer, Mothership Wit Organic Wheat Beer elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium. Our far-flung Beer Rangers affectionately refer to our Fort Collins brewery as the Mothership, a name that conjures images of earth shot from space and the interconnectivity of it all. Mothership Wit is brewed with wheat and barley malt, as well as coriander and orange peel spicing resulting in a balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation.

This is one of the better wheat beers I have ever had. Nice spicy citrus flavors with a smooth sweet finish. Very refreshing and great for summer.

Pours pale yellow, hazy, big white lasting head. Aroma is bright and spicy, partly from the yeast the other part from the coriander. Some lemon also. Flavor is dry. Body is light and refreshing. Some bite from the carbonation but not from the hops. Refreshing on a hot day but nothing to write home about.

Bottle at martini house. I really enjoyed this beer. Better than its rating I think. Nice aroma of yeast and citrus. Very refreshing sweet.

Pours hazy yellow, pure white head that dissapears quickly. Smells of lemon and coriander. Acidic and lemony, pretty sweet, not bad on a hot July summer evening in So. Cal.

Maybe I don’t have a nose for wheat beers, but I can’t smell a trace of orange. Maybe citrus, maybe banana, possibly cloves (or is that coriander?). A bit of a shocker to me...I liked this wheat!
