Commercial Description:
Our first venture into organically-produced beer, Mothership Wit Organic Wheat Beer elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium. Our far-flung Beer Rangers affectionately refer to our Fort Collins brewery as the Mothership, a name that conjures images of earth shot from space and the interconnectivity of it all. Mothership Wit is brewed with wheat and barley malt, as well as coriander and orange peel spicing resulting in a balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of spices, coriander, bready malts, wheat, slight pepper, slight orange peel, and a hint of lemon. Poured pale yellow in color with a large, creamy, rocky, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Lightly sparkling. Some tiny particles. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of spices, coriander, bready malts, yeast, orange peel, toilet-bowl-cleaner, slight medicine, and wheat. Light to medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Spiced, coriander, orange peel, and wheat finish is dry.

I know this is a really low rating but the glass I got at Taco Mac, which is supposed to be a reliable beer bar, was really this bad. The aroma and taste can be summed up in two words: pressed ham. The color was a cloudy green. Talk about mother ship, this is the space alien of beer.

Bottle: For lunch after a good swim in the pool. Light and refreshing, some sweet, bready notes, fruity. Like it but not impressed; makes a great session beer in the summer.

Pretty good, I usually hate organic beers for some reason. A little thin, but good flavor. Could have used an extra dose of spice. Dry and wheaty flavor. Some yeast in the finish. Some acidity. Very drinkable and smooth otherwise. Faint aroma of yeast.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with afully gone head. Aroma is dry estery and wheaty. Estery and wheaty fruity flavoured with a vague acidic touch. Ends with a light bitterness and acidic touch.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy and opaque pale yellow with a dense white head leaving laces. Slight citrus in the nose. Medium body with yeast dominating. Dry and somewhat astringent finish. A different - if not exactly more exciting - take on a Belgian Wit. 060709

Just had to have this on the 40th anniversary of the first Moon Landing! Aroma is strong, wheaty and yeasty with a hint of lemon - downright inviting. It pours a pretty slightly hazy yellow with a fairly thick if not too persistent head. Flavor is fairly typical of a witbier - strongly wheaty, a little yeasty with a lemony trace. Texture is smooth, fizzy, just a teensy watery but otherwise good. Refreshing indeed. Happy Apollo 11 Anniversary, everybody! Heck, call it Moon Day!

Pours pale gold and cloudy with a white head. Nose is bready. Taste upfront is bisquit and wheat, with a faint tart citris taste in the finish. Not spectacular, but crisp, smooth, and refreshing.
