Dry wheat forward, touch of spice in the finish. Pretty dry throughout, I prefer this approach to wits over the sweeter styles that I find cloying or the aggressively spiced ones that come off artificial or soapy on my palate. Pretty straightforward. agl108 (509), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy, very light gold with visible particulate floatage. Almost no head, and what was faded quickly. Light aroma of lemon, gala apples and wheat. Initial flavor is darker than I expected, but then quickly bursts into feathery lightness with orange peels, wheat grass, malt and overripe bananas? Maybe I’m just imagining that last one. Anyway, this is a fine Witbier. Nothing to get excited about though. Juelze (906), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy color with medium sized bubbly white head. Color is the typical pale malt, faint yellow color you get with most Belgian Whites. Aroma is the usual coriander and orange peel. Everything is well balance with the taste as well, however, it does have a bit of a tangy finish. It’s not bad, but if tamed just a tad, this would be even better. For $3.49 for a bomber, this is a great summer beer. Excellent.
