Tasted at Sunfest 2008. Flavorful beer manages to include both roasted malt and cherry flavors. The hops linger a long time; this is a very substantial beer and a tasty treat.

12 oz bottle. The aroma is a bit stale...then again I have had it in the fridge for a few months. The flavor has a bit of cherry in it but I really have to pay attention to get it. (I am not expecting La Folie). Not too bad but nothing to write home about. Ten minutes of pleasure? Yes.

What a let down. To go from La Folie to this, seems as if it wasn’t the same brewery. There is a dull cherry flavor, but it isn’t sweet or sour. It is flat or stale. Not the best.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild malty, a bit oldish and a vague cherry aroma. Creamy malty flavour and texture. Mild berry fruity note, yet distinct malt flavoured. Ends mild sweet and roasted malty with a vague cherry citric touch into the finish.

Bottled. A pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cherries and light notes of almonds. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread and caramel as well as lighter notes of cherries, leading to a dry bready finish.
