(bottle): Pours a light reddish amber body, small head, off-white & diminishing. Very sickly, syrupy, soda-like aroma. Some maltiness. Some tart cherry taste, flattish. Some fruity afl aftertaste. Some alcohol. Bitter, sour.

Red/pink tinged orange, very light head formation. Nutty roastiness, heavy breadiness with milk chocolate and cherry fruitiness. Sour initial flavor, dark bread, bland with little fruitiness evident. Almost nonexistent bitterness. Not a strong effort.

12 oz bottle included in the Folly 12 pack. Nice light blend of mild cherry with a brown ale. Interesting beer, Can’t taste the ABV. I’m sure this would taste better on tap. Alas, it’s not as good as I was hoping for. But it’s still pretty interesting.

Bottle: Lots of earthy and maltiness up front, maybe a hint of artificial cherry. Had a bit of a stale bread element. Nose was fairly stale of malt too. Too bad, I had hoped for more.

Bottle from Lee’s. This beer is the weak sauce. Essentially a cherry brown, but with a really unexciting brown.

Draft at New Belgium. Clear medium dark red/purple colored body with a white head. Good lacing. Flavor is aged and mild dried plum slices, some doughy, dry hops, a small bite that builds over time, noticed most in mid-palate... but there’s just this terrible manure smell that is wafting out of the glass, very earthy, heavy with soil and manure, difficult to get past. Flavor is cracker barley grains and mild, dried plums and apricots. Thankfully not sweet, but the smell ruins what would have otherwise been a decent beer.

(Bottle) Pours an amber color with a small white head. Sweet aroma of bready malts and light caramel. Taste is rather malt based, with the only cherry hints coming towards the finish. Not as sweet as I anticipated, which was good. Somewhat tart towards the end. Not bad at all, but not quite as good as I had hoped. Was surprised to see a 6.5% ABV... was thinking more along the lines of 4-5%.

bottle thanks to swalden_28. poured a hazy amber with a thin off white head. aroma was mild with caramel and fruits. flavor was actually refreshing with caramel and some the tartness of a cherry. high carbonation. i was very surprised by how good this was.
