From the bottle. Pours red with a faint head that is gone like that. The cherry can be smelled. The cherry is lite. This is a very weak beer from the New Belgium Brewing Company. They usually have alright beer. This one just didn’t make the cut. Good thing they don’t make this all the time

Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma is more malty than cherry with a bit of sweetness in there. Flavor is tart and dry with more of a chocolate malt coming out that cherry. Very faint all around on the cherry and if your going to make a fruit beer make it fruity! If i saw this in a six pack instead of a throw in in the folly pack I would not pick this up.

Nice looking beer, ind of a darkish red with a pink tinge to it. Slight cherry smell. Sweet cherry flavor, almost syrupy, very malty. Not something I would drink again (unfortunatly I have one more bottle).

Bottle from Folly pack. New Glarus Belgian Red is my fruit beer reference and this one comes up a little short. Basically tasted like someone added a little cherry extract to a Fat Tier. Do all their beers have that same nutty, bready flavor? Not that impressed.

Tasted 7/2/08. 12oz bottle in the mixed Folly Pack. Filtered with a bright ruby amber hue. Slight head. Aromas of biscuits and a slight woody note. Mild cherry aroma. Medium bodied with the typical NB yeast character. Good blend of cherry; bot overt but noticeable. Good effervescence. Good medium malt roast. Biscuity and a touch vanilla. Not too fruity, but solid drinking.
