| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Clear amber liquid with a definite red tint. Slightly pinkish head, which is small and goes away quickly. Minimal lacing.
Definite fresh cherry smell, though not overpowering. Sweet malts behind it. Uncooked bread dough.
Light sweet malt taste is out front. Nice light cherry follows. I hoped that the cherry flavor would be more pronounced. This is very mild.
Mouthfeel is good. Crisp, yet somehow a little creamy, at the same time. Interesting.
Very good and easily drinkable. I’d want more of it if the cherry flavor were more dominant highibus (441), Mill Creek, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 30, 2008 A very nice reddish copper color with nie bubbles. Noteal head but a bit of lacing. Aroma is sweet dark fruit and sweet malt. Flavor is some of the same but not very sweet. A nice beer with a nice subdued finish. talon1117 (628), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Pours sparkling clear and orangey-amber-colored with an eggshell-colored, average, creamy head which is mostly diminishing and leaves minimal lace. Nose is dominated by the red cherries; other notes of cake, vanilla, and sweet breads (a bit like a cherry pastry). Flavor is very cake-like, cinnamon notes, vanilla, light nutmeg, cherry filling, brown and white sugar, and some doughy sweet bread. Palate is moderately light, lively, and a bit thin. Finishes mostly sweet with some cinnamon and vanilla but lightly tart with cherries. Similar to frambozen with a fruity cake-like beer. I thought the cherries were a great complement to the cake flavors fo the base beer. Not something I would want all the time but great for a lighter desert beer. scrizzz (1325), kirkland, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Bottled. Mild but flavorful cherry on palate, some cherry and wheat on nose. This is what I expected Sam’s Cherry Wheat to be. An enjoyable, not over-powering "hot summer day" beer. Dmalone102 (218), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2008 Looks- Amber color with a little head that dissapates quickly.
Aroma- Bread-like yeast quality with a fruity smell, as if you left out some strawberries too long.
Taste- A little tangy, but not too bad and not too sour. Tastes like Candy cherries.
Palate- A little dry and tart. When yo first take a drink, it kind of pops!
