Pours a brilliiant...and I mean brilliant straw color. Head is very rocky and gushy. Nice little floaties swimming around like lost sea monkeys. I will show them to my mouth. Ohh so estery. Hoppy and dry, yeastilly aromatic. A masterpiece I think

What a great, adventuresome brew! The thing is a lovely attempt to fuse an APA with a Belgian, IMO - wierd and wild to find these hops with this yeast. I absolutely loved it. But keep in mind, I’d had a lot of brews and was starting to crave something like this. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Big aromatics, sticking out, standing tall, mildly euphoric, a dazzling spray of flowers, honey, herbs, and minor fruit notes.
Taste: that unique blend of yeastiness and sourness so characteristic of great Belgian beers, Trappist or secular, is prominent here, in aroma and all over the flavor. Mmmmm...nice...I lose my critical grip, and just wallow in the sensation for a while. Good and hoppy, but ever-so lightly so. Exquisitely smooth, but hardly simple. Perfect balance. A great every-day beer, for those with elevated souls.

It had a fruity malt taste which eventually turned into a tastey hop flavor which was pleasantly bitter. I drank this while grillin a steak last night...yum. Another winner from a great brewery. bunyan (5), West Hartford, Connecticut, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2002 Can’t say I’ve had many Belgian Singles to compare this against, but it’s a tasty offering. Easy drinking enough as to not overwhelm the senses yet complex enough to keep even the most discerning beer drinker interested. Pours with a huge fluffy white head, starts off with a malty grassiness reminscent of a saison ala Hennepin, finishes bitterer(?) than I would have expected with a nice Belgian yeast twang. Finished it too quickly, I wish I had more than one. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA

A low gravity Belgian style single, with a definite funky Belgian yeast, mostly apparent in the nose: soft pear and bananish aroma with light acidity. Flavor though, is all PNW hops - which is what makes this beer unique. It has an excellent resiny hop flavor - though not as pronounced as an IPA - with light bitterness and a soft fruity flavor. Nice copper-gold color and lasting head. dins (267), Texas, USA
